• Jonathan Devoto has been a popular name in the Bay Area music scene for the past 15 years. Beginning his professional music career as lead guitarist in the Matches (Epitaph Records), then lead vocalist/guitarist in Bird by Bird, Jonathan has also played guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard in other well known local bands Finish Ticket, Mr. Kind, and many others. He’s toured internationally and headlined local venues such as The Fillmore, Great American Music Hall, and Slim’s. Jonathan has been teaching music and production for ten years, and now works primarily as a producer and music artist career coach. |

• Jim Gleason’s students include many touring and performing guitarists and numerous guitar teachers. He worked for many years as a studio musician and was employed by over thirty major artists as music transcriber, including Santana, Journey, Herbie Hancock, Tower Of Power, Doobie Brothers, Jerry Garcia, Taj Mahal, Jorma Kaukonen. Jim is author of the world’s most complete guitar method (RPM), used by 200,000 guitarists globally. The Guitar Encyclopedia library of course material and new multi-media Guitar Improv course is available to his students on his website. |
